Your TRC Score™
See how efficiently you charge to others in your community
Identify opportunities improve your range confidence and lower charging costs
The TRC Score™ evaluates your charging behavior across:
how much you charge and when
your mix of home and public charging
your cost awareness
habits that affect battery health
local charging conditions
How the TRC Score™ Works
A simple scale for charging efficiency
TRC Score™ uses a standardized scale ranging from 50 to 100 to evaluate EV charging efficiency.
The concept is similar to a credit score, which typically ranges from 300 to 850 to provide lenders with a standardized view of financial risk.
In contrast, the TRC Score™ measures charging efficiency rather than financial risk.
The score reflects the combined influence of several efficiency factors, including charging preferences, charging mix, cost awareness, charging habits that affect battery health, and external charging conditions.
Understanding Your Score
Your TRC Score reflects how efficiently you manage charging over time.
Your TRC Score indicates how closely your charging habits align with efficient charging practices.
Your TRC Score™ places charging performance into one of four efficiency tiers:
Range Charging Performance.
90 – 100 Exceptional efficiency & optimized
75 – 89 Efficient with some optimization
65 – 74 Adjustments could improve efficiency
50 – 64 Significant opportunity to improve
The goal of the TRC Score is to raise awareness and track trends .
Even small adjustments to charging habits can improve efficiency and reduce charging costs.
Help Refine the TRC Score™
Your feedback helps improve the model
The TRC Score™ is currently being refined through feedback from EV drivers and charger owners.
By participating in our short survey, you help ensure the score reflects real-world charging challenges and driver experiences.
